OS X gets a new name macOS
Apple announced that OS X is getting a new name and will be called macOS Sierra.
MacOS now brings full support for Siri on the desktop, which users can access by saying ‘hey Siri.” Siri will help users find files, send messages, help users perform tasks, and more.
Users will also be able to unlock their Macs with their iPhone or Apple Watch, by placing it close to the mac and its called “auto unlock.”
Users also get universal clipboard, that gives users access to a single clipboard which works across iOS and macOS. Apple is also going to improve support for iCloud Drive, making files available easily across devices.
Apple also now makes it easier for users to sync between multiple desktops. Apple Pay also is now available in the browser. Last but not least tabs similar to Safari are available to apps on macOS.
